In 1963 Sri Sathya Sai Baba declared the purpose, in part, of his life of service, teachings of wisdom, and selfless love, “…for establishing dharma (righteousness) on a firm footing. The dharma that has fled to the forests has to be brought back into the villages and towns. The a-dharma (unrighteousness) that is ruining the villages and towns must be driven back into the jungle.”

How do the programs of Sathya Sai Education fit into the noble purpose of the life of Sri Sathya Sai Baba? In the stream of wisdom flowing in his discourses and writings through the years, he has enlightened us as to the very purpose of our lives, to realize our inherent divinity or human spirit. He established the Sathya Sai Organizations, and in the charter declared the purpose: to help mankind realize the inherent divinity or human spirit. He taught the correct and true process of education, Educare: bringing out that which is within, our inherent human spirit or divinity.

The purpose of true education, the purpose of life, and the purpose of the Sri Sathya Sai Organizations is the same: to help mankind realize the inherent human spirit or divinity.

True education, by the process of Educare, integrates spiritual and secular education. In this way, true education is inclusive of and is beyond the narrow confines of religion or nationality. Educare is the same the world over. As Sri Sathya Sai Baba has said, “Truth is One, there is no American truth, no Russian truth. Truth is One.”

Young Adults

Young men and women, the future citizens of the world! The future of the country depends on the skill and the sincerity of the youth. Therefore, the necessary enthusiasm and encouragement must be generated among the youth. All my hopes are based on the students, the youth. They are very dear to me. The future of the world, good or bad depends on your conduct. The country will be safe, secure, peaceful and prosperous only when your conduct is good. What the world needs today is not affluence and material comforts, but men and women of noble character. The country is bound to disintegrate if the behaviour of the young men and women is not on the right lines

Sri Sathya Sai Baba

The Sri Sathya Sai Young Adult program is established to encourage young adults (between the ages of 18-35) to lead purposeful lives by learning and practicing spiritual values as defined and established by the life, message, and works of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The ultimate goal of the program is to help young adults realise their true divine nature through introspection and selfless service
